"Carpe diem"
Here comes the final session of this blog. This chapter of my blog is the most favorite one. This has two unusual sessions of the course that I have ever attended till now.
This first one I am going to talk about is OBT (Outbound training). This was my favorite session of this course. I love to be engaged in physical activities almost all the time. Classroom lectures always bore me to death. In this course, I was indulged in various team activities. We started with a jog (a warm up). And we came to the gaming spot where all the games were wonderful and engaging. My favorite was the Tarzan. We have to jump from an elevation using a rope that was tied to a branch of the tree. First, I thought we have to climb using that rope. By the time when we are done with the Caterpillar game, I ran to the Tarzan spot and started climbing the rope. Everyone in my team and the OBT coordinators were laughing but they still cheered me up. I climbed half way through and was unable to go any further. This session taught us the team spirit, coordination, helping tendency, care for others and leadership skills. The session ended with a beautiful and complex game called Mine which made us ponder about the way we think and work. A beautiful strategy game which I think everyone has to play. This session was the best.
The final session of our course was a panel discussion. Our facilitator, Viji mam was the host who made this session worth it. The panel consisted of people who were occupying higher posts in various organization. We got many insights from these people who had hell a lot of experience in their respective fields. We discussed about almost all the topics that were taught in this course and also received many important information regarding life and career. No better session could end a course than this. The weird, captivating, engaging and splendid course came to an end. Wish I could attend more course like IDiO in the near future. Thanks a lot, to our facilitator, Mrs. Viji, who made this course a memorable one. Thank you, mam. With this I end my blog. Hope I implement all the good things that I learnt from this course in the walks of my life.
